Buying online can be extremely convenient and allows you to shop at places you could never reasonably drive to. Buying online can pose some problems, however, if you don’t know exactly what size to buy.
When it comes to jewelry, rings might be the hardest. Not everyone knows what size ring they wear on every finger. That would be a lot to keep track of seeing as how we have 10 possible choices and not all of your fingers will be the same size.
Here is the best way to find your ring size at home without going to a jewelry store.
1. Find a piece of string or ribbon.
2. Wrap the piece of string or ribbon around the base of the finger that you want to measure.
3. With a pen, mark on the string or ribbon where it overlaps to form a complete circle around your finger.
4. Measure the length with a ruler in millimeters.
5. Compare this measurement with the chart below.
6. Purchase ring with confidence!

| Millimeters | Ring Size |
| 46.5 | 4 |
| 47.8 | 4.5 |
| 49 | 5 |
| 50.3 | 5.5 |
| 51.5 | 6 |
| 52.8 | 6.5 |
| 54 | 7 |
| 55.3 | 7.5 |
| 56.6 | 8 |
| 57.8 | 8.5 |
| 59.1 | 9 |
| 60.3 | 9.5 |
| 61.6 | 10 |
| 62.8 | 10.5 |
| 64.1 | 11 |

Thanks! I never know what size to get since it seems to have changed over the years. It’s great to have a chart like this.

Thanks for the chart! I have to measure every single time lol. I can never remember my size.
Also, I measure both my finger and my largest knuckle. Some of my fingers have a bigger knuckle and I want to make sure I can get that ring on and off.
