The third annual Cleveland Handmade Market at Tower Press will feature
giftable work from local artists and artisans including: woodcut prints,
photography, paintings, jewerly, clothing, knit and crocheted accessories,
paper goods, screen printed tees and totes, etched glass, teas, pottery,
and upcycled lighting.

Open studios on the first floor give you a chance to see artist workspaces
and the Tower Press building’s unique live/work spaces. The Artefino Art
Gallery Cafe will be open as well, with their delicious espresso drinks,
soups, salads, and sandwiches.

Free admission and free off-street parking in the lot behind the building
(access it from East 21st Street.)

“Every year, Northeast Ohio welcomes in the holiday season with the sights and sounds of Winterfest, the annual holiday lighting ceremony right on Public Square!

Events for the whole family will take place throughout the day, including free horse-drawn carriage rides, the Radio Disney Stage Show, live holiday concerts at Old Stone Church, pictures with Santa, performances on the Tower City grand staircase and the Huntington Winter Wine & Ale Fest (a fundraiser for Generocity Cleveland).

Come down and enjoy as Public Square, the city’s Christmas tree and Terminal Tower all light up at once for the holiday season with a spectacular fireworks display to end the evening.”

A new part of the festivities will be the Winterfest Village which will include artists and craftspeople (many from Cleveland Handmade Markets) selling their wares in a large, heated tent on Public Square from 3-7pm. Make visiting (and shopping with small business people) a new part of your Holiday tradition!

The Cleveland Handmade Market at Tower Press during the Sparx City Hop will feature a dozen artists from Northeast Ohio, open studios of the resident artists at the Tower Press Building, delicious food and espresso drinks, as well as art, from the on-site cafe and gallery Artefino, and perhaps a peek into the work of one of Cleveland’s treasures at the soon-opening Schreckengost Museum. Our last Market of 2010 will be the crazy-popular Last Minute Market & Screw Factory Open Studios. 85+ sellers of the coolest art and craft in the rustbelt PLUS dozens of atists whose studios are in the building. Free admission from 10am-6pm on Saturday,  December 18th and Early Bird Admission for $5 (all of that $5 will go to Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland) from 9am-10am. Early Birds get to be entered in a raffle for great handmade prizes, a shopping headstart, and breakfast refreshments.
